Surf & Travel
Surfing and travelling are a huge passions of mine, what’s better than gliding above the water, surrounded by nature and being propelled by the waves?! Going into the water with my housing is the most thrilling part, not knowing what I am about to capture and discover in the edits later. Sri Lanka is the place I first fell in love with surf photography when I first travelled there in 2020. I knew I’d return. Over the last few years I’ve volunteered for the Sea Sisters, and made short films with surfers I met a long the way.
Jenny x Hiri
I met Jenny when travelling in Hiriketiya, Sri Lanka. As soon as I saw her beaming smile gliding through the waves I knew I had to film her! I approached her and she was super stoked to do a sunrise filming session. I used mixed mediums of super 8mm to capture the environment and an underwater housing which paired with the gorgeous Sri Lankan sunrise resulted in some stunning visuals I was super pleased with.

Capturing this session of the Sea Sisters’ back in 2022 was a wonderful experience. The support and hype in the air from the team was infectous!
Surf in the Storm
In one of Sri Lanka’s epic downpoors we decided to get out the cameras, this spontaneous decision lead to some wonderful footage and epic memories with some people I’d met in the hostel that day.
